Hey mate,

I used both soda and sand for my car.

Soda on the sensitive bits (roof etc) and sand on the structual parts. Wasnt cheap. About $1800 all up for blasting everything and then another $1000 for etch and transport. I dont think soda is really used for blastig out the rust, just for removing paint from the sensitive areas.

Came out great but also showed just how much metalwork needed to be done :) A good thing I guess...

Cheers,

Trent
