I was just wondering if a Nissan Bluebird S111 Manual Gearbox would fit into a 77 120y sedan and would i have to do any modifications to install it?
Thanks

Bell housing to engine bolt pattern is completely different to that of the A series.
Don't know if they can be swapped but the tiny A series bell housing would not permit a decent size clutch to be used.
Transmission tunnel would be way too small to accommodate the 5 speed.

For a decent gearbox upgrade, youd need a crossmember from a 180b, a L20 b engine, and a five speed box.
Stanza suspension conversion too

Or keep watch on ebay, the odd five speed turns up, one there now?
It is still an A series, and close ratio sets are NLA
But plenty close ratio sets avail for the L series engine boxes
