they used to do an id1600 but dont anymore. new technology injectors means itll idle like a dream too :)

the squirt is about $700 unassembled then out comes the soldering iron!

had a minor setback today, the factory where the dat lives needs to be vacated so my plan of doing a night on it her and there has changed to pump it out quick while i have the facilities and see what happens from there...

bought some stainless bends and dug out some alloy donuts from the shed to begin some new piping and a big 4 inch dump pipe with the gates plumbing back. its gonna be toight!

Well started making the new 4 inch dump pipe and figured, maybe we'll go down a bit further. ended up reducing to 3 inch just before the rear crossmember. it does sit pretty low, about 80mm from the road at the lowest point.

plumbing up the gates is proving to be a nightmare but after 3 nights at it its nearly all done.

good to see you put a flexi join to the wasetgate. Looks like youve straightened a few of the sharper bends out too. Nice work!
How tedious is tig welding. :)

I wasn't the master behind the tigging but it does take a while! It's very tight in there I hope it doesn't leak!

I need to source some half shafts if anyone has any? Also searching for the plate that bolts to the firewall so a master cyl can bolt straight to it (no booster)

Nick, that's the one! How much are you after? If you're willing to post it I'll take it!

Mik yeah the db limit thing will surprise you it's pretty loud because it's track side. What bits are you chasing?
