Hi Everyone

Just wondering if there is any options out there that has one key and ignition set that fits all
- Ignition
- Front doors
- Fuel tank
- Boot

When the 1600 came out was there 1 key that fit all? Or was there a seperate key for the fuel flap?

I would like to get my hands on a complete set if possible (including Ignition, door locks, fuel flap and boot), I don't think I have ever seen a complete set though. I'm happy for this part to be not genuine aslong as they all work and fit. Genuine NOS would be better.

But knowing if it is possible is a start.

Thanks
Jason

Hey mate,

I have separate.

Was able to get the ign and front doors the same. Boot and fuel are on separate keys.

Cheers,

Trent

usually they have 2 keys, the ignition key and the outside key.I have never noticed any having only 1 key, possibly some of the late models did ?

My original '71 sedan has all lock barrels, inside and outside, keyed alike from when it was sold new in Canberra (I'm the second owner).

That said, it's easy to get lock barrels changed by a professional locksmith to match a key as long as the pattern (the slots in the running down the side of the key) are the same.

No, I'm not a locksmith.

Thanks for your replies. That gives me something else to keep my eyes out for. If anyone out there has a NOS complete set in hiding please get in cantact with me via PM as I would be interested in speaking with you.

Thanks again!!
