Dunno about you guys but my obsession with Nissan's GTR Skyline the "Hakosuka" is out of control...

Some of you may have already seen this thread but I thought I'd share it here too for anyone looking for a great read!

Unfortunately it's not a genuine GTR sporting the legendary S20 motor, it is however a clone, with an L20. Having said that enjoy the read, and the reason for sharing is because it's right here in OZ! One lucky bloke...

I was confused about that but after a bit of research I do think it's called an L20 I6. A straight six-cylinder, even though it's a 2.8 litre...can anyone confirm that though?

Nah, L28 is right.

L20 is indeed a 6 cylinder L-series (of 2 litre capacity) that was fitted to some Hakosuka's originally, however Kev definitely has an L28 (2.8 litre 6 cylinder) fitted to the Hakosuka in your link.

There's a 100-odd page build thread on performanceforums.com detailing all the work Kev has done on this as well. Very nice car, and he's taken no shortcuts with it.
