grab a test light and see if theres power at the wire that clips on the starter solinoid when some 1 is holding the key on the start position..
Doesnt matter if fuses have been used before as long as the fuse hasnt melted its inner wire..
The rusty tabs in the fuse box will need to be cleaned up
You can test the starter by crossing a screwdriver across the main power terminal on solinoid with the spade terminal that the ignition wire joins to on solinoid.. if this turns the motor over..your starter is ok.. and problem lays either in the loom / fusebox or ignition
Got the brother taking it into his work shop to test it out. it wasn't doing anything at first, then we tapped around the clip on the solenoid and then it started to make a click noise but still nothing. we took it out and put a jump starter to it directly and (i don't know the correct term) the inner drive/ thrust thing came out lol..
wasn't sure whether it was meant to turn or what, but anyways its all getting taken in to get checked
