Hi all I'm new to this forum so I thought I would share my ute with everyone.
It is a 1985 Datsun 720 DC 4x4 ute with a dying, leaking SD23 engine and a blown gearbox (replaced by previous owner who thought he knew what he was doing).
I paid $800 for it back in 2011 and have since put $3500 into it (mainly for the Roadworthy), sitting on 31.5/10.5 R16 all terrain tires on sunny rims all round, lifted (unsure on how much) the black panel is spray paint covering the plaster bog I used to hide the rust for R.W  . Inside is pretty worn out, seats, dash door panels and torn and cracked, tacho, fuel gauge and speedo either don't work or are reading wrong. Pretty much I have been told by everyone I know as well as the local police that it belongs in the scrap heap but I don't see it like that.

It's not the first time and it certainly wont be the last. I don't like post-95 cars to much hassle.
