Funny how things work - took the car off the market but must have forgotten to delete from my105.com. I just bought a set of R888s on Ebay as the current ones have done a fair bit of work now. Planning to do oil, filters, brake pads etc this weekend ready for 30th. And then today I get a call from a guy in Sydney that I spoke to a while ago who is still keen on buying the Dazda......should know this week if he wants it.

Maybe I'll buy something like this if it sells:

Shopuld be fast enough to scare me!

I also liked the look of Tyrie's 1600 but he has decided not to sell.

My next event - 30th May at Phillip Island (MSCA) - a few Dattos entered, come down for a look.

Dyno'd my car today at Casey Auto and produced 170 rwhp - I think Selectmaz dyno is optimistic (203 rwhp at Selectmaz with same engine/tuning). Dodgy dynos I suppose are great for business. Hoping to crack 1:58 again at PI.

Datto entries:

Doug MACLEOD DATSUN 1600 2354Rot
John AUTON DATSUN 1600 2300
Dylan AUTON DATSUN 1600 3396equ
Cale PEARCE DATSUN 1600 1876
Geoff NUNN DATSUN 2000 2250
Rod THOMSONDATSUN 2000 1982
Brian RAYMER DATSUN 200B 1975
Noel EDWARDSDATSUN 240Z 2800
Dimitri VASSILIOUDATSUN 240Z 2497
Gareth JOHNSON DATSUN 240Z 2753
Gerhard METZ DATSUN 260Z 3100

OK, next event for me is shaping up to be MSCA sprint at PI 29th August - any takers?

Been a while, too busy at work with a Finance Manager that nearly **** our business. Since been given the bullet. After a couple of tough months, nose back above water!

Noel's car was quick but had lots of gremlins and went home early. EFI L series? Was talking to the guy who built the car and he reckons it's good for low 1:50s. That is rocketship quality.

Yep! I've entered & paid my entry.
Problem with P.I. in August is that it's normally wet... :? Fingers crossed it stays dry!
Going to be a few other Zeds there too, from what I've gathered.

Good luck mate. I believe John & Dylen (DATSMO) Auton will be there in their 1600's.

MSCA are running on the Sunday.

Been meaning to do some MSCA stuff too.
Yup. John and Dylan are going to be there. Will be interested to know what sort of times they set (definitely out of my league...)
