Possibly, but then you might experience spring binding, which will give you the same result
I have an old time Shock Cattledog from Monroe which I can search for you if you really want to fit short shaft inserts

You have a few options:
-cut the bump stop down a little to gain a little more travel.
-put some stiffer shocks in to resist the spring compressing as much.
-raise the front back up a bit using new (2"?) lowered and hardened springs (i assume yours are cut or old?).
-modify the struts to use shorter shock bodies (gets complicated).
I modified my 180B strut tubes shorter not long back and put R31 shocks in the front of my 1600 and welded the spring perch back on at the right height to suit the springs and bump stops i had.
Spring bind shouldnt be an issue if designed correctly using bump stops etc to limit the springs compression.
All springs sag over time. If yours are old, might be time to replace them and the shocks but this will change the height unfortunately...

yeah what I have done is I have installed adjustable stut tops which has picked the front of the car back up to standard height I already run 30mm low king springs about 12 months old so I cut 1 and a half coils out to get it back to the 30mm spring height like it was it has still got a lot of spring capture on it as I had to jack them back up into place.

This 1200 has modified stanza struts with camber tops.
Springs are fully captive, does not coil bind or bottom out.

Has large 195/60/14s
