I have a diff stamped 37.8 which divided is a 4.625 but my question is what are the other numbers ???

This one came out of the front of a 720 diesel

I have another which is stamped 37.8 but different end numbers and iam not sure what it's out of

So does anyone know what these numbers mean pls

I would have a guess and say it's batch numbers or maby that crown wheel number matches the pinion

I think some of the numbers are the spacers/shims you have to use when putting it back together (from memory)
