looking forward to seeing what's next on this thing! If you were in NSW I'd buy those lm's from you too!

I run +40 all round on mine. they're ok, but I know what you mean about the rear. They really nee a +25 offset to fill it out more to the arch.

One of the problems with staggered wheels is the ability to head to the track and rotate your wheels for even tyre wear.
Depends on what you want to do though. For example, you can buy the Datsport DIY ARC, and just weld the pivots the offset you require. Then you can run the same wheels on both front and rear.

Or modify the front lower control arms to move the struts 12mm inwards. Redrill the holes. I have a feeling that Jeff Shoesmith here in NSW did (or at least spoke about) doing that.
The annoyance I have is that the sit so far inward at the rear.
I thought about the rear arms. But I'd imagine then that you would have to use spacers on the half shafts or make custom axles or spacers to fill the difference from the diff because of the 30mm of extra track.

Extra track on the rear required would be 20mm (10mm each side). That's changing from a +25 rear to a +35 wheel on each side.
Modifying the LCA's on the front to move them inwards would change the potential for bump steer as the LCA pivot would not line up with the steering pivots. I prefer the wider track on the front.

Mine are +40's, and they rub the front guards. I don't know if I could spare 5mm! haha.
I'm pretty sure people have done the front lca's already and I've not heard complaints, Baz does not advocate for it though. This is going back a few years.
You're right, Modifying the rear would be easiest. I wonder why they didn't do that when making the adjustable rear end kit?

You could use 240k rear trailing arms. They increase the track by about 20mm overall from memory. they also have bigger, stronger bearings. You'd just have to find some.

For now I'll be sticking with the BBS rims. They're an awesome wheel and pretty rare in 4x114.3.
I really wanted the SSR in 17s, but in over 2 years of looking for them I've literally never seen a set for sale so I think the chances of finding a pair are pretty slim.
As it turns out I've found a pair of 7.5 rims for the rear.
I've been looking for a new pair of rear wheels for ages and anything advertised are always 8" wide or bigger. Then I saw these 7.5s barrels only for sale and not only are they the perfect size but I didn't have to buy complete wheels, they were litterally a few kms from my house and stupidly cheap too. Absolutely stoked!!
Not sure of their exact dimensions, but they have about 15mm more dish than the current 7s so I'm hoping they're perfect.
Once I get around to polishing them I'll swap them over and see how they fit..... Fingers crossed.

No new pictures. The car hasn't been driven for a while.
If I can find any decent old images over the weekend I'll put them up.
Might even take it for a drive on the weekend. Been too long since I've smelt that Datsun (petrol) smell!!

Didn't end up driving her today, but did make a start on my custom chin spoiler.
Bolted the donor spoiler in place. Will hopefully do som emote work on it tomorrow.
