Hi I am looking for help.

My friend bought a 1976 Datsun 260Z 2+2 from OZ. I am currently helping him obtain info from as many sources as possible.

The problem we are having is he cant get it registered here in the UK. UK law stipulates that to be able to obtain uk Age related plates for the vehicle it has to have a Certificate of conformity to prove when exactly it was built. I am really struggling to find this at all. Can anyone help ?

If it came from Australia, it should have a compliance plate under the bonnet (hood). Looks like this, the date of manufacture is stamped into it.
