Hi,

I'm fitting a Z18ET into a 71 Datsun 1600 and wonder what radiator will fit. I looked at a 88-91 Honda Civic but it's too wide to fit the intercooler piping. Thought about an 83-87 Toyota Levin 4AGE GTS radiator but based on total height by an eBay seller, it appears to high.

Yes I can get one made but at $1000 for a radiator, it's a bit much. Need one about 600mm wide and 430mm high (from bottom pins to radiator cap).

Can anyone suggest one that will fit or that they have fitted with a Z18ET.

thanks guys

Ive got a series 2 bluebird radiator in my Z18 120y. Fits nicely and being out of an l series powered car the inlets and outlets are almost perfectly lined up for the z.

Has anyone used an early VW Golf GTI radiator with the Z18ET?

I did years ago when I had my Z18 in my 1600. Making the mounts is pretty easy, then you will need an expansion/fill tank as they don't have a cap.

They are available aftermarket on ebay these days for very little. I think the MKII golf has a slightly wider radiator, get measurements and maybe go for that one, as they MK1 radiator are quiet small in width, so may not be up to the task these days.
