Hey macdaddy.. not too sure if they're reverse mesh or formula mesh.. the lips are not flat, they've got a bit of a step in them..

thought i'd post up a bit of a progress pic of the shed.. had to get the Datsun in there for a test fit..

few things still to go, but hopefully a bit more complete by Easter..

IIRC stepped dish = formula mesh, flat dish = reverse mesh.

and holy sh*t that's a big shed!

Been a while between posts.. thought i'd chuck up some pics.

so, the shed got built. That was exciting.

I put up one of my prized possessions, my original Monaco print, bought from the track..

my wife swept my shed, an I took a photo and put it on the internet.. I'm not divorced which is good. It was close.

started filling it up:

I built a bar.

It's great to have a functioning shed again so I can tinker.. the bar is also pretty good.. :cheers

Looks awesome mate! Driveway next?

How do you find the clear roof sheets? I'm kind of regretting doing mine. I love the amount of light they let in (especially since I still don't have power hooked up yet), but they also let in a whole bunch of heat. I'd think about moving that poster, too, as it might fade in that position.

Nah, no driveway.. just driving over the grass.. Going to pave a little lip up to it.

The clear roof sheets are tinted, but i think i might swap them for some darker ones at some stage...

Thought i'd chuck up some pics from the Adelaide Datsun Day. It was a nice drive up through the hills and there were some awesome cars up there. I'm not sure about the timing of just before Christmas though... all this extra motivation when i shouldn't be spending money on the Datsun... :?

Having some issues with tramtracking with my current rims. I think its a combination of the extra offset of my rims, along with the stiffer sidewalls and extra grip of the semi-slicks. It's pretty annoying for normal street driving... Any advice would be much appreciated!

So, picked up some cheap rims, set of 5 14x6 meshies. They were cheap and had a high enough offset to fit under my front guards and a big enough 'x-factor' to clear the brakes..

took them down to a mate at wheelworx in Richmond (Adelaide).. come up a treat..

first dipped:

then he polished the rim and painted the centres silver

just gotta get tyres on them now..

also thought i'd chuck up a pic from the weekend. I can tell you there is no issues with the semi-slicks in the hills on a dry Sunday morning... :D

a shame to see the Wats coming off, but those new meshies look sweet, too.
