I have recently acquired this treasure through unfortunate circumstances, i was always destined to get him i just didnt think it would happen this soon.
Hes a 1973 T20 Homer who has had 1 previous owner since new (my grandad). Originally used as a work truck for many years until he was retired and has spent the last 30 years doing the occasional dump runs and the past few years just the monthly start up in the garage. Pretty well kept together with some small rust spots starting to develop around the headlights and some small dents but other than that hes pretty good for his age. Just over 120k miles on the clock running on original motor and gear box. I'm hoping to start the restoration soon starting with the brakes as they are leaking and need adjustment which seems to be the only issue when it comes to driving. Came with the original books and also the first rego cert that he got (cost a whopping $32). I will be out and about at some weekends so look out for us!

Yes, these are great little trucks, very versatile and fun to drive.

I would also be very interested in more pictures when you have a chance as I have a '73 T20 as well. It was bought from NSW, via a for sale post on Ozdat in 2014, and moved to Victoria. Mine also needed brake work (rears...Nissan Urvan wheel cylinders, pads and drums work for this truck, too).

Coincidentally, it might be about to be listed for sale soon....

All the best with it; looking forward to the restoration!
