Hi all,

I have some coilovers on there way, and I am now looking at front brake options.


I currently have the tried and tested commodore HZ PBR caliper and verada discs setup.

Is it worth upgrading to say a VT twin pot caliper that will bolt up to my struts, or will I need to change my booster etc as well??

Depends on the surface area/volume of the pistons you have to displace and whether you have to change the MC or not.
The best bet is to find someone else who is running the same setup and see what MC they are running.
For R33 4 potters and R31 calipers, I'm running a 15/16" straight from an S14 Silvia.

Ok so I have been dicked around by a fabricator, who has had my exhaust manifold, waste gate and exhaust for the last 3 months. He was supposed to weld a waste hate flange onto my manifold and fab up a dump pipe for me. So after 3 months of getting screwed around I had to take legal action because they changed their number, moved house and stopped taking my calls. I tracked his new residence down and confronted him and managed to get my stuff back. So long story short I got my stuff back and are now looking for someone who can do this for me.
Does anyone know someone in Melbourne eastern subs who can help??

Sorry to hear that mate, I might be able to source someone, I'll grab the number tomorrow @ work. He did some IC welding for a mate of mine and was a genuine guy.

Puller her out of the garage for a good wash yesterday as it was covered in dust.





Now just gotta get the dump and gate all plumbed up as well as the intake and cooler piping sorted.



Ignore the pod filter location..., I will mount this in behind the headlight somewhere. Can anyone confirm that I will need to have the filter enclosed??
