I used to have it in my car. Removed the clock on the LHS and replaced with a factory tachometer.

Ok.. Would you happen to know how common they are Nick? It's the only one I've ever seen with this type of clock. I'm taking a guess here, and could it be out of the 70 deluxe model?

The clock was in my 1972 GL. It was also in my Dad's 1971 GL. Not sure if they are standard equipment on the GL. I'd have to ask someone who has seen more of these cars than me!

I thought the GL didn't have the connecting plug on the loom...

The loom was there. It's pretty basic though. It's only power to the clock? The clock would run even when the ignition wasn't on.
The engine oil switch light, park brake and alternator charge light are all common.

Ok.. My guess is that it would light up green as well. I will change out the complete cluster soon just to see how it looks.

Yes it did. Same loom for all from that perspective.
The tacho for me needed custom wiring (for the SR), but all the other lights just connected straight onto the existing plug.
Have a look on the wiring diagrams we have on here. It should show what is there and what isn't.

I have my tacho going straight to the coil and have the plug pin free. Thanks for the conformation on the light Nick. I have a wiring diagram chart but haven't bothered to look at it as yet. The clock runs three wires which lead me to think that it lights up as well, independent from the cluster board.

On a 200B the clock and cigarette lighter are on the same fuse, which makes sense since they both work as long as the battery is connected. If there is no clock wire you could run one of that circuit.

Car is looking good too
