 Post subject: Changing the flip flops.

How do i go about changing the 69' 1600 flip flop wipers to the conventional style. i know that its classic but i want sumthing a bit more modern. any ideas on how to do this. i was told i need to redesign the cowl wiper panel and mechanisms but that shouldnt be too hard. should it?
