Hey guys, I've got a R16 Fairlady and I need to get a new distributor for it. I can get one from the states, but it's gonna cost heaps. Does anyone here know if a dizzy from another datsun or nissan can be used in its place?

What about the H20 motor from the Nissan Urvan...? I know they're a source of parts for making a stroker out of the R1600, but could a dizzy from one be used?

http://www.datsunparts.com/ on like the the 5-8 pages shows a L20b USA dist converted to work on a Roadster. Ck it out.

I use a Pertronix conversion on mine(510s) and I like it.
