Does any one know if an n12pulsar runs on leaded or unleaded

Unleaded.
Because it's a alloy head, they have hardend valve seats from the factory. :wink:

thanx heaps mate

would that be why after four years of putting leaded in it is starting to "ping"


ps i think its pinging, as when i drive it the engine jerks slightly

No, the qualitiy (RON rating) has dropped in unleaded fuel in the last few years... :(

If you can actually fit the leaded nozzle in the filler then its ment to run on leaded,But as lurch said the have alloy heads, and hardend valve seats from the factory.

you may need to get it re-tuned to suit the unleaded.

What sort of jerking is going on? My experience with pinging (which is minimal - if it happens I stop it ASAP) is that it would have to be pretty severe to cause jerking. You could be looking at weak ignition, starving of fuel etc as well. Does it do it all the time, only on heavy load etc etc?

Thanx guys for clearing that up

But ever since i filled her up with unleaded its bin running a dream

So im not going to worry about tuning or anything

Hope it stays that way
