 Post subject: A couple questions

anyone know how I could make my 1970 1000 handle better. also how to lower it a little bit, I dont know how to lower leaf springs.

you'll need to have the front transverse leaf actually reset to the height you require.

for the rear, you could just use lowering blocks.

any good suspension shop, anywhere around the world, should be able to do both of these very cheaply.

ok thanks. I was also wondering how to stiffen my gas pedal it's really loose. Do I just get a stiffer spring?

See if there is any slack in the adjustment. Get someone else to press the throttle while watching it in the engine bay. Otherwise you can add another throttle return spring somewhere, or upgrade the existing one.

Dunno bout WA (i'm a sandgroper originally :wink: ) but here in Canberra mechanics and susp shops etc. charge like fuckin wounded bulls ! :evil:
