Hey there,

I need a bit of help finding some info on the order of and bits and pieces included on the front of the crankshaft. My alternator pulley has managed to come away from the little pin and was just spinning on the crank causing an awful squealing noise and has about 5mm movement back and forth across the crankshaft so I figured I must be missing something!

L-series 6, I have an alternator pulley, power steering pulley and air con pulley, but I don't know what else I need. If possible a diagram from the crank bolt right through to the start of the block would be ideal!

Thanks alot,
Jayson

I think you should start by putting the crank pulley back on and bolting that up - then refitting all the belts.
It's hard to tell exactly what you mean!

Thanks alot, I figured the problem today!

The three pulleys are more or less a 2 piece set up with the front pulley bolting onto the middle pulley, the middle pulley has a back piece in which the last pulley fits onto and has a rubber strip between the last pulley and the back piece. This was worn out and was causing the last pulley to spin on the back piece and move side to side and also made a horrible squeaking sound... so thankfully I'm not missing any bits and pieces!

Cheers again!
