That previous post was a thinly veiled attempt to explain that writing in CAPS is the same as YELLING at people :oops:
An electric pump MAY be more reliable, will not leak oil, will not rupture a diaphragm and fill your sump with fuel, MAY be noisier, will not require rebuilding and will cost you approx. $80 (new) for a low pressure type (i.e. carby engine).
With appropriate wiring and fusing, it will work just great :wink:
