Hello everyone, I'm new here and was wondering if anyone knew if I can use a L20 crank pulley on a Z24 crank?

you sure can but its not worth it they don't have a harmonic balancer on em... try and get one of any 6 cyl L motor. the balancer will improve top rpm

I will only be running an alt, and water pump. I am also looking for the lightest dampener possible. Which do you recomend? There is a 4 cyl and 6cyl so?...

OEM are 'tuned' to a specific rpm, so you probably need the aftermarket BMW style which is a non-tuned design. NEC in Melb used to make them, and someone in NZ makes them as well. L series hub with BMW damper assembly. See one here at DatRats : link

Thanks for the info guys, I kind of figured that I needed something more than stock. I asked about the ATI dampeners because they say that they are good for up to 500-1000hp well above stock. I live in Las Vegas and not familiar with the shops in Australia. I have been reading up on Z24 info on a few Australian datsun sites, and you guys know your stuff. Thanks again, and please post any other info you have.
