Beef I figured if Im forced to run the 10-15kg heavier L20 I might as well forget 2litres and use the extra 300cc in the supersprints. :lol:

I would still prefer the shorty l18 though with smaller bores say 87-88mm and the l20b crank and l16 rods :wink:

By the way Feral has got himself the head of the big daddy of all twin cam 16v engines from nissan. Xmas is nice to some.. :roll:

Well... I guess you have a choice.

1) Wait for me to do my L20B timing chain setup and work from there.

2) Bite the bullet and try doing your own L18 setup.

From here on in, I'll be focussing on the L20B chain setup specifically. If you're keen on the L18, I can't help you any further. :(

I wouldn't have thought the L20B would weigh 15kg extra? I've seen some quoted weights on the net but I'm always a bit cautious of them. Depends on what's been fitted, wet or dry weights, etc. etc. Bah! Just me being a pedantic sod... :roll:

I spotted Feral's LZ yesterday. Good on him. I still prefer the KA twin cam though. :wink:

Beef youve been great help and thank you for almost convincing me to use an L20b :wink:

I might just give the single cam 12v head a go on the L18 as soon as my 13b is up and running. I just picked up huge a set of twin 50.4mm dual semi downdraft sus for it to annoy weber fans :lol:
