Get ALUMINIZED tubing say 2in if standard carbed or sidedraft carbed car. with a nice high quality turbo type muffler. 2 or 3 chamber to cut the noise down.
the early stock manifolds are pretty good 4 2 1 type

Yeah, I'm going to upgrade to a better cam as well though (just something mild), and get twin SUs or twin webers, so should I go for something a bit bigger to ? like 2 1/4" or 2 1/2" mandrel bent?
