 Post subject: my 1600 on going project

this is my 1600, i"ve been building it for about 8 years and just cant get it to the point of being finished :D (are they ever) its a sr20det with big internals, just waiting for the cash to bolt the big stuff on, brakes are a maddat kit front and rear, with cobra race buckets to sit in, autometer dash and big fuel set up.Just thought i"d share some pics.Got some FR18"s polished coming in about 3 weeks, trx"s have gotta go!!! hahaha

had a custom one built, changed the top inlet and had all braided hoses made for it, heaps easier than the original metal pipes.

But I'm not a big fan of that style of intercooler fitting. Not to subtle is it!

Looks tuff. I have two Datsun 1600s painted the same colour . Orange really suits Datsuns. Great minds must think alike.

Is that a custom made strut brace?

not yet mate, 5 months ago i shattered my ankle in 12 places. Was in hospital for 3weeks and just got off crutches about 2 months ago, i still cant drive my datto prperly, kangarooing everywhere hehehehe, hoping to race it in the next couple of weeks, i"ll post up the time if i get out there. Walking is hard at the moment so i dont know how flat changing is gunna go :lol:
