no worries i will never use them.
i went up to the 550cc 13BT injectors which are very similar.

yeah z18et, fj20et, l18e and i think l28e are the same.
i have two sets, one i think is stock z18et and the other has been highflowed. don't need either so your welcome to them.

Good to see you guys are doing some innovative work yourselves.
There are so many sr20 1600's and ca 1200's out there that don't impress me in the slightest, most are just built now with off the shelf parts eg maddat/datsport fitting kits and suspension upgrades. Anyone can bolt together the parts and make a car.

What does impress me is building a car with a low budget with second hand parts that performs. It doesn't even have to look good, just be functionable.

At the end of the day you can always say to your self "i built this car"

ill be interested to follow this project along, and if you need any help don't hesitate to give me a call

sweet. i'll take those hi-flow ones for sure - i think we'll need the fuel as the eventual plan is about 1.2bar (that's about the limit of the turbo's efficiency). thanks again 8)

and thanks for the kind words. i too prefer cars that are built from scratch. everyone's always saying "you need this and this" or my favourite is "nah it wont work mate". that just makes me more determined to prove them wrong.

like i said to Vaughan, 14sec 1320ft times on street tyres are the goal here. it can run a 14.99 for all i care, but a 14sec A12 120Y is bound to knock a few people around the ears.

Are the Z18 injectors bigger than the factory L18e ones? if so i mihgt pick up the standard ones for the bloo koop and get them flowed.....

if thats cool. i'll have to wrangle you a carton for your troubles!

i like the fact that all of this is being done with second hand and strange bits, it's going to be heaps of fun to see it buzzing around!

Lampy,

I agree with you about so many SR20's in 1600's and buying all the bolt on bits. Hopefully my car doesn't fall into that category!? We'll see.

Good to see these guys getting their hands dirty!
Keep up the good work.

i just hate getting grit in my eyes when crawling under cars - other than that, i reckon it's awesome.

Just to follow on from Lampy,

I reckon it's great to see people doing different stuff, testing it, ironing out the bugs, fixing it, testing it, and then saying "this kicks arse"

Hopefully you guys and Bob's 2K challenge have a heap of fun and come up with something that goes well.

yeh we hope so, it should be heaps of fun just getting it running but to be able to get it out onto a track or down the strip will be even better!

well if the injectors are the same as L28E inj then they are also the same as L24E, R31, VL commodore (n/a and T).... food for thought :)
