Nevertheless.. Nice driving.. If it weren't for the locked rear right brakes.. or was it both?

Anyways, I had a crash when my datto was just barely done.. :( but, everything has gone uphill since it has been fixed..:D

What tires did you run in LAG?

Cheers,

Mark

Well i ended up biting the bullet and buying a radiator to butcher up to make a nice fitting custom unit. I made the tanks out of sheet metal, bending it the old fashioned way and will be getting it welded up soon.

I will be getting the car back from the panel beaters tomorrow, mick (one of the ozdat originals!) from micolour looked after me as he has done in the past and straightened out the front for me, now i have to work on the panels and spray it all up.

I also bought some new injectors today so i'll be able to actually boost the thing! they are 630cc (at factory fuel pressure) siemens top flows, i am in the proccess of fabricating the new rail and fittings.

well progress is slow on the onld girl but thought i'd put up a little update. installed some HKS step 1 cams today and am currently working on a top feed injector and rail combo to suit the 630cc injectors i bought. i'm hoping with the cams and some more boost i'll be looking at around 200rwkw. still can't decide on what turbo to get! body is going to a panel shop in the next few weeks.

well progress has been slow but gradual. i'm now upgrading the fuel system, running new 3/8" alloy lines, braided flexible lines with -6 fitting to the fuel rail i finally installed today. a spacer had to be machined and posts made as well as the injector bosses milled into the rail extrude. the ends were then tapped to take fittings and whalah!

also here are a few shots of my current rear end. R180 locked 3.9 ratio with cv shafts and r30 arms running 300zx slotted disks and r30 calipers. The shocks are custom made Koni adjustable coilovers. the setup will be ditched when i finish my five stud version with short nosed GTR helical LSD. the last pic shows the GTR centre vs an R180...

hi jimmy, i have yet to complete that part but have done it previously with a smaller diameter line. it'll just be bent using my thumbs :) i am leaning towards running the lines inside the car, but making the joins to the braided lines outside the car for legal reasons. i bought it in a 25 ft roll for about $50 from my local V8 parts store.

i've been slowly plugging away but have to really pull my finger out as the next wrx/sau track day is at phillip island on the 29th of march and i will be there!

going to the dyno next tuesday, hoping for something around the 200rwkw mark. making new coilovers with r33 brakes for the front and 16 x 8 gtr rims with nice new toyo proxes r888 225 50 16 track tyres. rear will be the same but still four stud for now. i have just over a month to do a lot of things but i reckon its achievable.

as it sits now...
