Aaaaaaargh! What a frustrating night! First run, and it all went wrong. Thought i bent the butterfly on the throttlebody, causing it to idle at about 4,500rpm, but after close and thorough inspection it wasn't. Im thinking I may have sucked in a gasket, letting in too much air and causing it to idle. So unforunately I couldnt even hold it up on the line to get boost up - so much for an 11 tonight  !!!! So I'm gonna check it out later this week, and see what the issue is.

Next time out I'm thinking slicks, more boost, and on a Fast Friday ith track prep. And maybe that 10 second pass ive been thinking about!

BTW- thanks for the pic burnt16!

You raised quite a few eyebrows Beau up in the race control, my friend called me up telling me about this insane yellow 1600 and wanted to know who you were 8)

Sick burnout Beau. Wish I filmed it, the bov sounded awesome. You put that kinger and especially the skyline to shame. Just a pity no-one seems to have any respect for the 4bangas.

Im thinking of going to the next fast Friday with slicks. You should have a crack - cos its a prepped track. Much better chance of lowering your times. You were killing the tyres from the line lol

Cheers Brett i love to get out there and show everybody that a 4 banga can do just as gewd just wish it would have lasted longer water tank would have worked better if the system was cold from the start but doesn't matter. Im gunna be pretty busy for the next few times im home from work we get the keys to our new house in a few weeks so got flooring and painting to do but can finally get out of the olds house for once and all.

U didn't end up making it down choonk?
