Just got this little beutie...... let the fun begin :thumbsup:
I want to put a 1400 in it twin webbers or dellortos (any advice on which one?),
with a 5 speed gear box, respray the car a nice red and some nice wheels to top it all off!!
Anyone know a good spray painter in the Melbourne area???

Hey nice little coupe youve got there.
I once owned a 1200 coupe with an A14, it had twin delortos bolted to it with a lumpy cam, sounded so good at 8,000rpm but the stock gearboxes didnt like the 2nd gear change!
As for the carbys ive never owned webers, the delortos were great tuned them after the motor was built and never touched them again (accept for cleaning the fitler socks).
Sounds like you have a bit of work ahead of you good luck, and keep the pics coming!! :wink:

Ive heard that webbers can be hard to maintain they often cause problems.
I think that the delortos are my prefered choice.
Will update when I can.
