They don't exist. A few would swear they do but, have never been able to come up with the goods. :bringit:

Ive called a couple of shops in the know and no one can actually confirm wether there are alloy ones either. If they do exist they must be from surfs/4runners from about 2000 on, which are very rare in australia. I have never seen one anway.

GGGRRRRRRR...
after doing my front wheel bearings on the weekend I have realised that the R30 rotors are one piece with the hubs...

I see 2 options:

Get the Datsport hub conversion (expensive)

Get my existing hub/rotor turned or milled down so to fit inside the back of a hat type disk, like the R31forum guys do

any other ideas out there???

Get a set of DR30 front struts. They have a floating disc (much bigger than R30) and 100mm caliper spacing for the R32 / R33 4 piston alloy calipers.

DR struts are very hard to find... but seem to be a better option.

I have been offered HR31 GTX fonts for $450 complete... might take him up on it if it all fits!

I have a pair of DR struts that I no longer need (were going into a rally car which I have sold). These have heavy duty springs (I can try to work out the spring rate) and Koni inserts, although the Konis leak and would need to be rebuilt.

I wouldn't want anywhere near $450 for them - was thinking closer to $300 plus postage

They're on the Gold Coast if you're interested.

mmm very interested!
i have tried to dummy up the hilux calipers tonight on my testbed car, and there is going to need to be a complete hub change of somesort as the current ones intersect the pads..... basically the calipers are too close, and my wheelslook like they have no hope of fitting...

what exactly is on the bits you have? hubs and rotors???

Strut bodies, inserts, top mounts (240K - 2 pairs), rotors, hubs, calipers. Basically everything except steerring arms (which I believe yours will fit) The photos below show everything I have

Are these the ones with the 90mm bolt spacing that fit onto 260z struts with (modified) magna vented rotors?

Yes, 90mm bolt spacing. Will suit vented disk as in the various writeups
They were from a fella in QBN, had a seal kit put through them early last year, pads are near new too.

Currently getting cleaned up. Will have pics available by the end of the week.

There will be another set arriving I got for $60, but they require rebuild, and only suit the solid disk (which I found out after the auction ended! grrrr)

Cool, well if you're looking to get rid of them, shoot me a PM with the price when you're ready. But I will be doing *something* with my brakes in the next couple weeks (either refurbing my current 4-spot/solid disc setup, or upgrading to vented) so would need to know pretty soonish.
