In Vic rust must not be visable. That dosn't mean you have to fix it properly. A quick bog and paint and it's considered road worthy down here.

Should repaint it the same colour, i reckon they look better in the similar period specific colours

Does anyone know the paint code or colour name for this colour? Pretty keen to paint mine this green.

yeah the colour has grown on me,by dulon and is called ascott green, 566-12011, its an original colour thats what the sticker tells me to refinish with etc

Well havent been on here in a while. Been quietly enjoy rego on the old girl. Taking it out on weekends and such and have slowy been saving for brakes and suspension from datsport which isnt too far off now but unfortunately wont be able to make it to the nats this year. In engine news everything is just about sorted. Ill post specs when i can get on a computer not my phone and i also have a few pictures

engine specs:
l20b block
86.5mm flat top hypatec pistons
a87 head ported by mark bunyard
oversized valves. cant remember exact sizes it was ages ago i got it done i think 44 inlet and 36?? exh
rather large cam recommended by mark
fresh bottom, linished crank, new bearings throughout, std rods
i have a matching set of 45 webers and a datrallly manifold to go on.

little bit more saving to go then brakes and suspension will be underway and along with that the fresh motor will drop. things are finally moving along well
