He thinks it will make his stock ride height 200B handle better.

^^^

Sorry Nick......

But on a serious note, if you wanna make it handle better you need more than just offset camber tops.

I remember doing this on the cheap, changing old worn out bushes would be a start followed by tyres, springs, shocks etc etc.....

IMHO just spend the cash on proper camber plates and you will never look back!

He's actually fitted lots of brand new bushes, new springs and shocks and some other front-end stuff, and his handles better than mine does with chopped rears and Pedders something in the front. Although I plan on replacing all of mine with some decent stuff, not cheap Datsun stuff.

Alex is right though, the car will benefit and handle much better with proper camber plates. I don't think the strut tops would really make any noticeable difference (even to Nick) to handling.

Well, for starters that would be nice, but I don't have a couple of hundred to spend at the moment. And if I did, I have more pressing things to be spending it on.

And as for why I want more neg camber, I didn't really buy these with that in mind, they just came up at a moment when I did have a bit of extra cash to spend. I happened to be buying new front springs at the same time, so I got these and stuck them in to see what would happen. I don't know if they've done anything or not, but the steering does feel better now. It's not as heavy as it used to be. Also, the steering lock used to get stuck quite a lot, and that stopped happening too for some unknown reason...

Anyway, the only reason I did it was to see what benefit I'd get, and because I was changing springs anyway. Does it handle better? Yes. I don't know if it was just the new springs I put in, but the only reason I started this thread was to sort out a few problems I had when installing them.
