It has the same gap as you showed me Trent and will need some work to fit properly, im thinking maybe pull the lower centre of the valance out a small amount to compensate , only other way is to cut from the outside in to close up the middle and reprofile the whole mounting edge to suit better.

Man, your car looks about as good as a 1600 can look in the photos above with the white walls on it.
Have you dummied up the spoiler look yet? I really can't see it looking better than it already does.
Sorry, you probably don't want to hear that since you've just got your spoiler, but it just looks so good in those photos :(

not really after the rock stock look but I still got all its bits it came with , just after a more spirited drive hence the current setup
the spoiler was a impulse buy and its dummied in previous page and if I do fit itll get bolted to another valance and then enable me to swap it over

forgot to say those whitewall pics are prob 4-8 year old now

Got all me bits back and ready bar the head , should get the head back tomorow and start fitting it all back together ready for the first fire up attempt on sunday morn

put the inlet altogether and gave the manifold a coat to match the rest of the newly painted bits in the bay
Im thinking they may be abit overboard but no turning back lol

also fixed up the broken cover aroung steering its pretty dodgy underneath where the glue is

put stereo back in and changed the Dash unit to beside the ignition and it folds up to allow it to be hidden
and lastly fitted up the spook and then decided to see what a coat of black would look like but ended up with some crazing etc and it looks like crap , going to shelve it till I get the wheels im after then get it painted body colour

also spent some tediuos hours repainting the black on a spare set of HL surrounds

Finally got the bits back and fitted it all up over the last few days , had to change some wiring i mucked up but got as far as turning the key to "acc" yesterday and found a few leaks in the fuel system , fixed that then couldnt get pressure in the line so added more fuel and played with the reg and got it as high as 75 psi with no leaks and then backed it off to about 30psi , next was turn the key to "start" and nothing. Seems my ign curcuit or barrel is faulty and had to do a bypass to get it to crank , started to crank over and havent got further than that , kinda stumped as no errors etc Ill just have to keep looking or trying again tomoz , I may have stuffed the timing up and have to check it all

finally had some success , i spent some time going over it all this morn and found a couple connectors causing issues, got them sorted and working correctly then banged on the starter again. Eventually it fired to life :) got it to run enough to get some heat buildup etc and have parked it at that till i fit up a wideband to see whats happening and then try get someone knowledgable to help.

looks sweet :thumbsup: what ecu are you using? you will defiantly need a sideband o2 sensor and if you haven't already you should get some resisted spark plugs

thanks oldtin , its a LT10s fuel only atm and got a innovate lc1/gauge coming this week , plugs I think there r types but need some new one for it and in searching for an l16 , Ngk BPR6EIX come up so ill grab a set and see if that helps

Hey mate sorry to take the focus off your motor, but i was just looking at your steering column is that out of an 70/72 1600 ? I have a 68 and i'm having trouble fitting a collapsible column theres just to big of a gap.

TUFF set-up you have there by the way =)
