Woohoo, I finally received my bumper bar back today, looks great :D , but this means the time has come to pull my finger out and put up a for sale add... :cry:
I just hope that it sells quickly so i cant change my mind....... :impatient:
My add will be up in a few days.

I was quoted $220 per bumper for a place near me. But I've heard of other places quoting more, some nearer $500...

Im not 100% sure, it was fixed up through insurance because i had the bump in the rear. Im pretty sure the panel beaters said it cost them about $400 a bumper (all depends on how bad it is i suppose).

My understanding is that regardless of the damage, they re-roll the bumper, so they'd roll it flat, knjock out all of the dents, re-roll it and then re-chrome it. I believe that's how it's done. When I got the quote on mine they guy asked to have a look at how large the bumper is, so I guess for bigger cars it would cost more.

Well the car has been sold, i put it on a car carrier this afternoon. :cry:
Its off to Perth, I'm very confident that its gone to a good home. :thumbsup:

I was pretty bummed last night knowing that i only had one drive to work left in the car, so i got up extra early this morning and stopped at a few nice places for some final pics.

Well I hope it has gone to a new home and that when you can you will find yourself another Datsun and build it to the same quality as this one.
