thanks guys, really appreciate the positive vibes when it comes from fellow datsun brethren.

Yeah Nik, it's definitely a fun drive! Funny how 10kw makes a difference, or maybe I just forgot how it used to drive since it was off the road so long

cheers guys. which part of the exhaust trent? the muffler or the whole system? I've had it tucked up pretty high, it's way too close to the tailshaft but I need as much clearance as possible due to the low ride height

Hey Anth,

The whole thing looks great, nice and high up there. I need to source a different cat so I can get mine closer to the floor.

HI mate just a quick question regarding your front brake/strut set up, did you use standard 1600 struts for this conversion? Was going to go the R31 way but im not going to have a huge amount of power so its going to be an overkill having 4 piston r32 calipers etc. Cheers in advance for the info.

Hey mate, I used the struts that came with the car, I don't think they're stock 1600, they'd be 240k or stanza or whatever the usual conversion is when using Verada disks and Commodore calipers. R31 struts are great for handling from what I've heard but remember you won't be able to run wheels with much dish/offset if you go down that route.

Hey Azz, I actually commented in your jdmst thread and asked if it was datto time now that you've sold the S14! Can't wait to see you put your touch on a 1600, let me know if you need anything, everyone's really helpful around here.
