Dammit, this friday i'm going to the wreckers and i'm most probably going to bring back a whole pintara rear if the price is right and do it myself. How do you get axles out without buggering bearings and seals?

you just get new bearings, the seals are in the diff so you wont hurt them unless you are doing something really wrong

Got all the mounting plates, calipers, handbrake cables from an r31 for half price, keep an eye out for the thread.

I'm going for a mitsubishi cc lancer/ proton wira booster and master cylinder. Any ideas whether it would be up to the task of running the 120y discs and r31 discs?

My all disc '95 Proton Wira has terrific brakes (std) and the caliper pistons seem to be of similar capacity to those of the r31 and 120y.

Only problems I see are fitting the booster in between a few things, but it's only about 1in (dia) bigger than 120y one (not sure about distance from firewall though), and distribution (whether the proportioning valve will do the job properly).

Any ideas whether there is a street legal adjustable proportioning valve for sale/in production somewhere? You think there would be with all the brake upgrades with different brakes front and rear.
