this is the only video I've got of my L18 powered 1200 at Mt Cotton on the net. I think it's circa 2002. used to run flat 50's in this 116rwbhp trim before the flares, cage and good engine (146rwbhp) & box went in. I only did one hillclimb with all the good gear for a best of 48.37.

OK stop talking about the hillclimb
I had to work all weekend, so i didnt even get to come up for a look. grumble grumble :(

But ive got events for the next two weekends in a row. Coastal challenge, and the street sprint in Harvey bay... :D
Will post shots of both if i can.

* Note to self, do a hillclimb at least once this year *

Harry, that was a good spot to get a video from. cutting a few in car shots into the footage where the car dissapears behind the tree's would be cool !

Alex, next hilllcimb is 9th of July, followed by 13th of August.
be good to see your photos :)

Alex, go the RB30 mate :P

Phat_dat, very happy with the engine, its still about 30 hp under the other worked L20b 's that are running Improved Production class, so whilst i reckon we can get it under 50 the way that it is now we might have a bit of a way to go to match their time of 48 seconds. But in the road registered class it's brilliant.

Mate, I know that I can do better with the photo's, need time and better equipment i'm afraid

PS that orange anglia is running sr20 engine & box with 200b suspension in the back of it :)......its a very interesting car !

Same as you jeff.

we are in the same class now, which means my run of 3 wins on the trot (in class) will come to an abrupt end

hope the shorter diff makes some difference. front end arrived 30 mins ago. time to get cutting.

yeah the shorter diff will help a lot with getting gear changes in the right place.
