Whooooa... heat won't ever help get a sump plug out!

Anyway, by now I trust it's out. Just posting to mention a couple of things.

1. Lurch... Prince was not part of the Nissan empire when the Cedric first came out. Prince were bought out partway through the Skyline GT model run... that must have been about 1968, I think the Cedric arrived here in 1963.

2. Neatest engine installation I ever saw in a Cedric was in one that my brother in law bought about 1970/71... it was a six and it fitted in really neatly. He borrowed money to pay too much for the car and then couldn't afford rego the next time it came around, it finished up being dumped up a dirt road out the back of Mt Druitt. Shame really, though I guess a Freeway engine wasn't all that flash anyway.

Good idea! When's the next one?

In the meantime, here's an idea for Vader's Cedric!

Cheers,

I just stumbled across this old thread.
I bought that blue Cedric about 5 years ago. Must have been straight after Vaders last post.
It is one of three I have. I am collecting the bits to built it. I already have a VH45 frontcut and airbags.
This is a pic with my other stocker. http://www.earlydatsun.com/cedregister.html
scroll about halfway down the page.

Cheers
Graeme.

LOL, the unknown owner cedric (above yours) located in Canberra is my photo I took of that car, and I have never been to Canberra, and the guy that owns it now doesn't live in Canberra either.
