Looks really neat! I vote the 14, looks far better in my opinion. Also if you still need a horn button have a look at this: http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.vi ... 36&alt=web

Cheers mate. Yeah, I like the 14s. They're a slightly lower offset at the front, so they scrub a little on the guards when braking whilst turning. I'll either wind the struts up a little, or get the file out on the inner lip of the guards (they are fiberglass).

I've got a nardi horn button somewhere.. just gotta find and fit it.

yea the 14's look sweet. I just wish there was better/more tyre choices in good sizes for 14's. what size are you running?

I've got Bridgestone RE55S semi slicks, 185/55/14 on there at the moment.. I got these cheap and i don't expect them to last too long, so i guess i'll be hunting again at some stage.

I've heard the Federal 595s are decent bang for buck.. They're available in 14" sizes.

So, with a bit of inspiration from Anth510 and his new garage, i thought i'd post up some progress of the new home for the Datsun..

We've recently moved house, and I've had to say goodbye to the last mancave.. :(

.. it was a good mancave...

these are the pics from when we sold.. :( :( :( :(

[ img ]

[ img ]

my shed had soft close drawers... ;)
[ img ]

[ img ]

even had a man-room... watchin tv.. keeping an eye on my Datsun.. ;)
[ img ]

I made sure the Datsun got a look in.. Added value i think..

I even had beer on tap..

So.. fresh start at the new place.. blank canvas.. it's going to have to be better than the last one..

Giving me ideas for mine! I really like that pop out window on the front, I was thinking of putting a window on mine, but that might be another option. I also liked how you brought the roofline down on the mancave partition. Must have been hard saying goodbye to that place!

Well.. it was a nice man-cave.. someone else is enjoying it now..

So, this is what i've currently got.. A small garden shed and a gazebo with a tarp around it, and plenty of space.
It used to be a tennis court.. plenty of room to upgrade from the last one though.

And here is the current plan, just approved by council.. It'll go across the back.

As i'm sure Anth510 will appreciate.. it's a process..
hopefully installed with concrete and power by early next year.. hopefully.

That's a bloody big shed mate! 2.3m wider than mine, just about the same depth, you'll have heaps of fun filling that up. Roof height is nice and high too, so you'll have even more people than usual asking if you're going to fit a hoist (it happens A LOT!).

Nice rig. Are the SSRs Reverse Mesh, or Formula Mesh?
