Hey,
This is my 1979 stanza, just a daily driver.
the old L16 plus auto was getting abit tired, so last weekend we changed it to manual and fitting the L20b, all on our front lawn :D
Body: Stock with mildly flaired rear gaurds to fit 13x7 wheels.
Import violet grill.
Interior: Stock cream apart from a autometer temp gauge
Driveline: The motor out of my 1600
L20b, flat top 86mm pistons, 74 works cam, larger valved, porting, balanced bottom end, twin 45mm webers on a datrally copy manifold, extractors, 2 1/4 exh with a hotdog and 1 muffler.
stumpy 5 speed with a KB engineering clutch, lightened R30 flywheel.
Stock H165 diff:soon to be locked.
Suspension: all stock stuff, sss swaybar, chopped springs
Wheels/Tyres: 13x6 steel wheels with stock hubcaps
Also use other 13" wheels for burnouts etc

Still to fit: lowered springs allround, s13 camber adj strut tops, locked diff.
Need to purchase: vanetian blinds, bead seatcovers.
Plans for car: Drive it, hopefully not wreck it like my last stanza, do some drifting in it, burnout comps etc.

Some pics :)

Lurch, wire wheels are at home.
Go to the wreckers to get a diff centre to lock tommorow after I pick it up from the exh joint.
Juls, you cant compare a a mazda to a datsun ;)
My other stanza is sitting there, unsure what its destiny is due to bent chassis, but the gaurds are straight and rust free, but Im keeping them :)
