Post subject:  My 280zx (jdm?)
Finally got my car clean enough on a good day to take some photos last weekend on a 300zx cruise so here it is.
It's a 1980 280zx possibly jdm, dunno still trying to find info on the jdm model but i can't find squat. I guess i'd say the colour is a midnight blue, 5 spd manual, targa tops with the cream/brown interior.

It's had a couple of mods:
Rays engineering 3pce lightweight racing rim, extractors and 2.25 exhaust, cai kit with k&n filter, a/c and components has been removed to lighten it up as has the steel inserts from inside the bumpers and the front spoiler has been modified slightly for increased airflow to the cai and radiator.

Hoping to fix it up a little more, new crystal headlights and headlight covers then it's just minor bits and peices.

I wouldn't bother, they'd get confused and want you to bring it over the pits for an inspection. :shock:

According to my rego I have a H530 Sedan (its a 240z).

import/export not alot of difference with the s130.

Theres some S130 headlight covers on ebay right now about $40 i think..hang on, i'll go find the link......

Ah don't bother. he wants $50 for them and they slightly damaged and someone else has already bid on them. New from the USA they are around $69 + shipping.

yeah it's a s130 though so i need the 280 ones as 240/260 are different, i've found a source in the us at a reasonable price so i'm gunna buy 2 sets and put the 2nd up on ebay to try and partially refund my 1st pair. going for stupid pices on there lik 170odd i've seen em get up to
