Let me be the first to say, Welcome to the forum.
Looks like a nice unit you have there, and its ORANGE
the best colour to suit a datsun

What did the cops pull you over for?

That's hilarious...

Maybe the Police pulled you over because your blue lights are brighter than theirs?

Bucketsofbullets - the cops pulled me over cos they saw i had a full car load and no plates...

just pulled me over to check my b.a.c, license and my unregistered vehicle paperwork

and a mate who lives right there, came out and took a pic while he wasnt looking...

DNSV1600 - the lights are just neon lights. i wired them up to a little switch i had laying around at home....

im pretty sure they do come in red...
get led's they are way brighter and consume less power

jaycar audio is a good place to start[/quote]

distributor rotation, dwell angle and point gap can be fixed with a series 2
bluebird electric distributor :)

just get a new set of repco special plugs to suit 200b

firing order is 1342

timing is generally around 10degrees advanced, BUT can vary due to different rating fuel, motor condition etc,

idle is around 750rpm

get a set of NGK plugs, the cost difference is marginal but it is a better plug.

as for the rest of the information, look on ebay as the Haynes or Gregorys manuals come up all the time for like 10 bucks they are invaluable to have!
