I'm after a decent bodywork guy in Sydney area - someone who has done a few 1600's would be great - does anyone have any recommendations?

Need a few plates welded in, small bit of rust cut out etc.

Also what have others spent on having their Datto bodies prepped?

I'd like some info too. Or anyone on the forum who has done rust repair sections themselves, and willing to help a fellow datto owner out?

Looking for someone around western Syd.

Hay Ross my mate did all the rust repair on my Black one New sills bottom off rear quaters and bottom off front quarters inner and outers,he would be interested in doing work but the car will have to come to Lithgow .He does not charge an arm or leg .Have the photos of all the build if you are interested.He is also doing my brothers 1600 now have a look on face book at all the work that has been done on that.

No probs mate he also did Travs (bad 510) too.
just drop me a line i spoke to him today he is interested in doing it for you if you want.
The car will be done in his work shop on weekends so it will be cheaper but it will take a few months
