I'm keen to do as many of the street sprints that I can get to in 2008 (subject to being accepted )

Gatton (march)
maryborough (june)
Leyburn (august)
pitsworth (september)
murwillumbah (september)
noosa hillclimb (november)

who's interested ?
what other events are there ?

Alex, Pete who else ?
all you need is a cams level 2.

cheers Jeff

Jeff after sitting out this year i think next year is a no go for me too, i really want to my car sorted before i go blowing another motor etc.

The big thing for me is going to be getting a CAMS compliant cage / fuel system and getting the car sorted properly.

the fuel system shouldnt be to hard, but you have to be careful with cages as different classes have different requirements.

I'm not sure about doing another season of QR sprints as that track eats up tyres and synchros

I also need to find out more about the morgan park supersprint series
anybody know where to get an entry ?

PLUS OMG i just saw this for 2009 Datnats ! http://www.morganparkraceway.com.au/clients.htm

Hey, Jeff.

Just throw a set of gravel tyres on, and come and play in the mud

Very gentle on synchros, but murder on every other part of the car tho

I might actually get my act together and get out there in 2008

you can send them your details on that website, or post a letter requesting a registration form to:
Warwick District Sporting Car Club
PO Box 16
Warwick QLD 4370

Do it early (now) because it books out quickly.

Looks like project Z will be ready for fun in '08 so back to QR sprints I think. Have my name down for the M Park series but they want you there every meeting, thats a big commitment.

Maybe a couple of street sprints but they are usually too tight for my liking, where is Phillip Island? Need speed!!!!!

looks like I'm going to do the NSW Hillclimb Championship this year. 7 rounds, each at a different venue, 4 of which I've never been to before.

I've been thinking about doing it for a few years now. A little tired of doing the same old venues up here over and over again.

I'll also be taking the 1200 to Wakefield Park in March and hopefully to Oran Park GP sometime during the year.

And will definitely do the AHC at Bathurst - the Mountain Straight Hillclimb they're using this year is awesome!

Everyone should do Phillip Island at least once, great fast sweeping corners and a speedy straight, mate was getting over 250kph in his turbo Zed there last year.

Hey Guys,
I got into Morgan parks supersprints this year. :D
round 1 was on the weekend,
New car, 2 big spins, no damage and it still runs.
A good result.

as usual the zeds were out in force, 10 of them all up.
I had a ball.

Jeff see you at the hill in March
