I wanna chuck a h/u in my 84 720 ute, will it fit in the original am radio slot?

And how do i get the original am stereo out?

It may need a little triming on the sides and mounting brakets/plate.
If the unit is in the dash you'll have to remove the dash carefully the 180B has 2 really small screws behind heater control the face plate.
If in the console remove it,turn it over you'll see 2 or 4 screws.
Take note of the wiring where it goes to you might be able to use it to take Ignition feed from and hook up speakers as I did.
