Hey Guys and gals,

Yes its thats time again already. CUISE TIME!! :)

This is the first cruise for 2008 and is being organised by our FJ lovin lads Bill and Rodney.

They did the full drive yesterday and said we are in for a real treat, I for one can't wait to get out there with everyone.

Details:

Meeting point: Video EZY Car park cnr compton rd and condamine st, Runcorn.

Meeting time: 8.00am for a 8.30 am SHARP Departure to get some fuel and then off on the cruise (good chance to get some BP Ultimate for the drive)

Cruise length:
350 klms round trip - Maps provided on day - As well as a Lead car and follow car

Cruise destination: Queen Mary Falls

What to Bring: Your car, your passenger of choice, be ready to drive with a full tank, UHF 2 Way Radio to stay in contact during the drive and some breakie

Those wishing to participate in the cruise will abide by all road rules and require a mechanically sound vehicle. It's a long drive, but definately worth it.
Those who wish to disregard road rules will not be welcome on the cruise, safety is important. A good nights rest beforehand will also ensure there is no fatigue while driving and make sure you bring a friend along.

Responsible driving is encouraged!

We are have recieved a lot interest at the last monthly meeting of the Queensland Performance Datsun Club, and are expencting a large group for this cruise, and would like some feedback on who will be attending etc - the more the merrier!

If you have any friends with dattos who would be interested in coming on the cruise, please let them know about it and and encourage them to send an email to gun.1600@gmail.com or datskell@yahoo.com.au with their full name, car details and phone number so we can add their name to our mailing list.

Hope you all can make it and look forward to seeing you there!

Cheers
The Organisers

Thanks for an awesome cruise. :D

My only negative comment would be to those who choose to bitch about other peoples cars. :(

I thought we were all in this club because we love datsuns, not to bag out those that blow smoke or have a sun damaged boot (you know who u are)

Looks like a great cruise.

Like the diversity of cars too!

Please PM me the names I will follow this up.

QPDC prides itself on being a friendly club.

Glad you had fun otherwise.

Thanks to all who organised this great day out..... I loved it and cant wait to get more involved as time goes on. I felt a little rude that we had our own little group we were firmilar with (white 200b and red bluebird with bling) and were not sure if a lunch had been thought out as this was our first experience with QPDC. I must say how impressed I was though. Bill was very accomodating and alot of the five P's (c'mon allllll dato lovers should know them) were put in so a great day was had!

I was also stunned to hear on the last post about smokie dato's....... Don't they all smoke???? Haha....

Anywayz... Thanks again....Look forward to catching up again.....

We are both hoping to get to yatala for the mini cruise but as My work partner is attending a funeral this coming monday I am unsure if We will be able to get to yatala in time (i bet the traffic to get there from the northside will be horrendous!). If we miss this meet what time do you stick round at the meeting location for??? Is there even a crusie involved on MNM?

In that case then we will still head down but will probably not make it to yatala on time. Someone said there might be a hard copy of cruise footage available to collect on monday??? Is this right???
Thanks, Jared

Hi Jared,

That right footage on DVD is one of the many benefits of being a member ;)
