hey all.

if anyone has an old anti-pollution air pump lying around, or can get their grubby little hands on one, any model car, i would liek to take it off your hands.

they're very common on celicas, starfire coronas / commodores and i *think* the CA20 bluebird.

need it as a basis for a sump evacuation pump.

cheers.

rotaries had air pumps for the exhaust or something similar to what you are talking about, helped mate remove a few of his 12A equipped RX7's, might be an option

nah man not an air pump, it was a heat convertor - it introduced air into the exhaust to cool the pipes.

stupid really - but thanks anyway.

Try geminis as well, they had a pump on them. I have a CA20 from an R31 on my ground that you would be welcome to steal parts from but it doesnt have one, though that could be because it was EFI.

some diesel motors have vacuum pumps for the brake boosters and stuff like that, dont know if they'll be sufficient though

stupid rotaries, cool the exhaust, pffft, just let them blow flames
