Hey guys.

Its probly a long shot but i was wondering if anyone knows where or what happened to my old car.

It's a WRX blue 510 sedan with an S13 sr20det, it had 15 inch 5 spoke wheels, the interior was done in grey and had blue pattern inserts in the doors and on the back seat, the front seats were honda items from memory, it had about 5 autometre guages in the dash, and had BAD.510 plates on it when i sold it to a guy from parramatta back in 2002.
I lived in penrith when i owened it, i did spot it about 6 months after selling it, the guy had changed the plates to SXC.70Y /the wheels to chrome 17s /the front mount /and put a cannon on the back.

Im not looking to buy it back, im just keen to see what happened to it.

Cheers.

I know, i built this car up from a bare shell while i was doing my apprenticeship, it took almost four years of saving my arse off on apprentice wages and borrowing money from mum and dad, and after finishing it some things came up and i had to sell it, i had so many more things that i wanted to do to it but i never got the chance.

I would love to know that all my hard work wasn't totally lost buy some guy running it into the ground or even crashing it. :(
It would just be nice to know that its still around...... here's another few pics, there not the best though.

That sux! If who ever bought it off you put those plates on it, it's probably smashed.. the guy sounds like he had to much money and not enough car sense... I lost my first car, a KE70 corolla. Smashed it at hoxten park and when I was going to pick up a car trailer from home it got stolen. It was on the 'main road' for 3 hours in peak hour traffic right in front of hungrey jacks!!! who steals a wrecked car??? Not only that but I had 2 dragway draglites on the rear 14x8's which are now gone. I dont even remember what offset they were so I could buy 2 more to replace them. No how you feel..

Well I'm 99% sure Ive finally found it, this pic was put up on Datnet after power cruise was at Sydney, I'm kicking myself because i was there and didn't even see it.
There's just to many similarities like the red caps on all the guard/bonnet latch bolts, the rounded corners on the id plate ( passenger strut tower ), polished cover in front of the drivers strut tower covering all the relays, vt guard indicators, EMS sticker on the firewall, the falcon mirrors........ Its gotta be it. :D

Nice detective work there Trav. Bit unfortunate that the front end has been sacrificed to some wanker who thinks huge front mount intercoolers eliminating the need for a grill and scraping along the ground look cool. Otherwise destroying the complete nostalgia of the car :( ...
At least you found it though.

Thanks mate.
I totally agree with the intercooler, i like them tucked behind the grill
I'm just so happy that its still alive, but im kicking myself that i didn't see it at power cruise, i would of loved to have a chat with the current owner about it.

Hey Trav,

Good to see she's still alive and well, my mate's old corolla (13B Turbo KE30 2 door no plates '4DSHOW', another old penrith car) was wrapped around a pole by the new owner about 2 weeks after he sold it, not a nice feeling!

Looking forward to maybe catching up at the shop this sat,

Cheers!

Matt
